Take 'Centre Stage' with Vodafone

Vodafone Ireland has announced the launch of Vodafone ‘Centre Stage’, a major new sponsorship programme that expands its existing involvement in music, comedy and entertainment, and includes a new online platform for festival-goers.  Their new festival portfolio now features this weekend’s Forbidden Fruit; Body & Soul; Sea Sessions and Castlepalooza as well as the Vodafone Comedy Festival, Live at the Marquee and Electric Picnic.  Including activation, media and rights, Vodafone will invest in the region of €4 million over the next 18 months in the programme.

The new online hub will provide festival-goers with exclusive content, the latest news, inside reviews and buzz around the festivals as well as great giveaways across the summer. Contributors to Vodafone Centre Stage will include guests from the world of entertainment, music and arts, such as DJ and actress, Michelle Doherty, Ireland’s foremost festival blogger Mark Graham , leading culture guide, Le Cool Dublin and comedian Bernard O’Shea.

Announcing Centre Stage Paula Murphy, Vodafone said, “Ireland is famous for some of the best festivals in Europe, each with its own unique personality. We’re looking forward to adding to the great experiences already on offer. We’ll be there during the build-up, fuelling the anticipation with Centre Stage content and giveaways, helping to make sure that everyone has the best possible time using our superior network, so people can share their festival experience with their friends.  And of course we’ll be providing charging facilities so no one misses anything.
