Unveiled: new ‘Listen to your gut’ ads
Euro RSCG London has created a series of new TV ads to promote Yakult. These new ads are a further evolution of the 2009/2010 successful TV ad campaign ‘Listen to your gut’.
Mr Matsubara, Managing Director for Yakult UK, said “Following the success of our first ‘Listen to your gut’ commercial we are excited to launch the next two instalments of the campaign created by Euro RSCG London.”
In the ads, which break this week, characters will be seen in normal situations with an inner voice urging them to trust their ‘gut instincts’. One ad sees a man in the hairdressers getting a cut he didn’t want and the second ad shows a woman running along the canal and embarrassing herself in front of a male passer-by. Both could have been avoided if they had ‘trusted their guts’.
The big idea behind the campaign is that ‘trusting your gut instinct’ should be seen as a metaphor for good gut health. The ads finish off with the strapline “Listen to your gut”.
The TV ads launched on 10th January.
Russ Lidstone, CEO for Euro RSCG London said “Yakult is a unique brand in the UK marketplace and we wanted to build on the Campaigns strength from last year with advertising that had a strong feel.”
Euro RSCG won the Yakult account in 2007.
