Lowcostholidays.Com Offers Ultimate ‘Joliday’ For Successful Applicant

http://www.lowcostholidays.com/ today announced it is inviting applications from anyone who wants to get paid £20k to holiday around the world all expenses paid for the next 12 months.

The online travel company is offering one lucky Brit an annual salary of £20k to go on a holiday abroad every month for the next year as their 'real' holiday reviewer. Visiting any one of 300 different destinations, the successful applicant will enjoy additional perks including all inclusive hotel accommodation and a generous spending allowance. As well as the foreign travel, a starring role in a national advertising campaign is also included within the job description. Anyone wishing to apply should visit: http://www.lowcostholidaysbigsearch.com/

The real holiday reviewer will be expected to provide honest, straight-talking reviews of their experiences via regular blog updates at http://www.lowcostholidaysbigsearch.com

No academic qualifications are required for the role although the successful applicant will need to be proficient in social networking, demonstrate a love for travel and a willingness to explore. The ability to swim, a palette for good food and an appreciation of excellent customer service are also considered to be an advantage.

Paul Evans, CEO, lowcostholidays.com comments: “For anyone who fancies a year out, enjoys sunning themselves and who won’t miss talk of the recession, this really is the dream job. We’re calling it a ‘joliday’ – less job, more holiday. This isn’t about celebrity, this is about finding that ordinary, every day person who is down to earth and real enough to provide our customers with a no-nonsense view on popular and up and coming holiday destinations anywhere around the world.”

Applicants visiting the registration site will be required to fill in their Travel CV – a short questionnaire used to identify holiday habits and previous travel experiences. They will also be quizzed on where they most like to go and what they most like to take away with them.

With TV appearances and video reviews as part of the job, aptitude in front of the camera will also be tested along with ability to provide fun and informative reviews. Anyone applying for the job will be required to upload a minimum 30 second video of themselves reviewing something - it is entirely the reviewer’s choice, from a favourite place to a personal possession.

Part of the role will require the real reviewer to share their experiences via photos, a video diary and blog posts on social networks including Facebook and Twitter. To help them, they will be provided with the very latest travel gadgets and equipment including a laptop, digital camera and pocket camcorder.

Members of the public will be encouraged to vote for which holiday destination they would most like to see reviewed – from airport transfers and the thickness of the hotel beach towels to the thrill of the water rides and the service at the hotel bar.

A panel of leading travel experts has been recruited to review applications and short list ten potential candidates, from which the British public will select their winner.

The winner, to be announced in June, will be catapulted to fame as the face of lowcostholidays.com featuring in a national advertising campaign including billboards and on TV.
